The Chautauqua Cruisers began as a garage get-together of old car enthusiasts
and soon developed into a club serving the community. The organization has
presented car shows in the DeFuniak Springs area for over 20 years and now holds
three events each year. The first one is the "Wearin' O' The Green" car show
in March, the second is the cruise-in to Panhandle

funds raised through these activities has gone back into the community to
organizations and individuals in their time of need. The club has grown
over the years and currently has almost 30 members. The club has donated
back to the community over $20,000.

While enjoying the pleasures of antique, classic and later model
vehicles, the organization has shown itself to be a contributing
part of the community.
The Chautauqua Cruisers are seeking any individuals who have an
interest in automobiles as well as actively helping the community.
Meetings are held the second Tuesday evening of each month at the
Walton County Shrine Club on Highway 90 West, DeFuniak Springs.
The meetings begin at 7:00 P.M. You do not need to own an
antique or classic car but just have an interest in vehicles
or motorcycles, old or new. Membership dues are only $5 per
person per year.
